September 28-29, 2012  -  Pickin' In The Pines Music Festival
This event will be held at Forest Capital State Park here in Perry featuring bluegrass, country and a little blues music all weekend long, a cook-off, music workshops, craft vendors, camping and much more.  Featuring nationally renowned group Shannon Slaughter and Country Clare, whose bluegrass and country mixed shows are edgy, powerful and entertaining.  Also featuring the Florida State Bluegrass Band, the Stone Family, and much more!
