The Taylor County Chamber announces the Annual Chamber Banquet is being sponsored this year by our valued member Fairpoint Communications.  The event will be held February 24, 2012 at the Perry Elk's Club (305 Puckett Road - Perry).  Tickets must be purchased in advance and are limited (Event sells out each year).  The night will begin with social hour and silent auction at 6:00 p.m. which will include entertainment from the FSU School of Music's Jazz Ensemble.  A steak dinner with all the trimmings will be served at 7:00 p.m.  Awards will follow along with presentations by some of our valued legislators and our keynote speaker Tod Buchanan, a world renowned motivational speaker.  His segment will be filled with powerful messages along with some illusion thrown in for extra measure. Tickets are $45.00 per person or $400.00 for a table sponsor of 10.  For tickets and more information, please call the Chamber office at 850-584-5366.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Moon Pie Princess Pageant!  Girls between the ages of 5 and 8 years old will be competing for the Moon Pie Princess Pageant Crown at Forest Capital State Park in Perry Florida on March 30, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.  The Moon Pie Princess, her court and the Moon Pie Sweethearts will represent Moon Pie at the Florida State Bluegrass Festival held in Perry during the weekend of April 5-8, 2012.  For information about the festival, go to www.floridastatebluegrass.com.
